Divisions

The Department of Informatics and Telecommunications consists of the following divisions:

• THEORETICAL INFORMATICS (Division A)
  Subject areas: Foundations of Computer Science, Computational Mathematics, Design and Analysis of Algorithms, Computational Complexity, Theory of Programming Languages, Data Structures, Computer Graphics, Numerical Analysis, Cryptography, Algorithmic Operations Research, Algebraic and Geometric Algorithms.

• COMPUTER SYSTEMS AND APPLICATIONS (Division B)
  Subject area: the Analysis, Synthesis and Applications of Hardware and Software Systems, Management of Information and Knowledge Bases.
