Undergraduate

According to the annual evaluation (2010) of the Academic Ranking of World Universities (www.arwu.org), the department of Informatics and Telecommunications of NKUA is the only Greek university department, in any knowledge area, ranked in the top 100 departments worldwide (2009 - 2011).

A recent (May 2011) external evaluation, performed by the department's external assessment committee, comprising five distinguished academics of European and American universities, reports:

“ Overall, the committee felt that this is an excellent Department, one of the best in the country (certainly the best among 4-year programmes in the subject of study) that deserves support and encouragement by the Greek State and the National Kapodistrian University of Athens. ”
