Logic Design Laboratory

Digital circuit design with Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs), using the XILINX software tools for integration, verification of correct design and implementation in FPGAs. The new laboratory lays the foundations for the implementation of algorithms in hardware, providing fundamental knowledge on the hardware description language VHDL. The lab is mainly aimed at students who are interested in deeper study of hardware and architecture, communications and networking, signal and information processing, and software (algorithm implementation via hardware description languages).
