15101134 GAME THEORY AND APPLICATIONS (6ο εξάμηνο) 5 ECTS
Games in extensive form (tree representation, the notion of strategy and strategic equilibrium, Zermelo-Kuhn theorem). Games in normal form (the mixed extension of a game, Nash theorem, applications in economics). Matrix games (Minimax theorem, solution via linear programming). Bi-Matrix games (Lemke-Howson algorithm, applications). Games defined by a characteristic function (examples, transformation of a game from extensive to normal form, core, Shapley value, applications in economics).
